Saints are people who've lived lives of extraordinary holiness. God, in his eagerness to call attention to their way of life, often allows special favors to be obtained through their intercession. If the saint is a patron saint, the occupation or country is listed in italics, followed by the feast day.
St. Jude One of the twelve apostles, known as the saint of the impossible. Many people who find themselves in desperate circumstances will as St. Jude to intercede with God to obtain help with their problem. Hospitals (October 28th).
St. Florian Held a high administrative post in Roman Army. In the 4th century the emperor, Dioclethian, began a fierce persecution of the Christians. Florian was tortured sand killed in what is now Austria. He is the very popular patron saint of Firefighters.
St. Michael. One of the archangels, he is the very popular patron saint of policemen. His name is Hebrew for the question "Who is like God?". He is usually represented in the act of defeating the devil, recalling his battle with Lucifer, leader of the fallen angels, when they rebelled against God at the beginning of creation. Saint Jude, cousin and friend of our Lord, Christ chose Saint Jude to be his Apostle. The early christians learned from him the message of salvation.
St. Michael is one of the principal angels; his name was the war-cry of the good angels in the battle fought in heaven against the enemy and his followers. Four times his name is recorded in Scripture.

Engraving
Most of our religious medals can be engraved. We recommend using slant font if you have a lot to engrave. We take great care with each engraving. Text is centered, enlarged, and reduced until it is just right. More can be engraved on round medals than on an oval medal.

Our religious medals crosses crucifixes and symbols are of the highest quality from the largest religious manufacturers with most of them falling into the 'fine' classification.
Medal Size & Shape
We have found that ladies generally prefer oval medals and while men tend to prefer round medals.
20 Inch Sterling Chain
Many of our religious come on a fine 20 inch sterling chain. If you prefer an 18 inch sterling chain instead please state that in the comment section at checkout. Both chains are identical with end caps and lobster claws. The only difference is the length.
25 and 26 inch endless Sterling Chains
Many of our product descriptions state that it comes with a 25 inch endless chain which is a
2.9mm chain plus our new 26 inch endless sterling chain

Dime & our sterling ruler
Please use the dime in the image or the sterling ruler for size comparison. A dime is 17.5m, 11/16 inch. Also, one inch is 25m. 12m is about 1/2 of an inch. We have recently begun photoshooting our religious medals with a one inch sterling silver ruler which we made. We can make 18 guage sterling tags of any rectangular size from 1/4 by one to to one inch to 2 inches.

All the major religious medals manufacturers put a coat of clear varnish on their medals
to prevent tarnishing. This coating will eventually wear off with use and will no longer be needed.
Wearing sterling medals keeps them bright and shinny.
Selecting a medal for a lady
We have found ladies prefer oval medals that are 18mm or three quarters of an inch long, no larger and no smaller.
Selecting a medal for a man or young boy
We have found men prefer round medals 25mm or one inch in diameter or width - no larger and no smaller.
For young boys we suggest the same since they will soon be men.
